In The Dead Of Night

Poem Written by Anita Magdalena....

This poem came from dreams, I wrote it down when I woke the next morning.

In The Dead Of Night

A path eteched in pain
Dished out thrown back
Laid down with care
Painted in black
Ruthless judging
wrong with no right
Cast up with hands
to the dead of night
Pealing and cracking
Ahh let's blow it away
A kiss to the wind
Now do as I say!
Stumbling backwards
Losing it's grasp
Slipping and looking
For an edge to clasp
Blow it again
With fire and death
Suck in the last
Of it's lingering breath
A path etched in pain
Dished out now thrown back
Blown into pieces
Stripped of the black
Cast up my hands
To the dead of night
A kiss to the wind
For making it right.

  2. Such a well paced piece and great rhyming, nicely done.

  3. Composed wonderfully, very dreamlike and evocative. Nice write ~ Rose
